Information Writing

During term 3 we decided as a class to write about our island. We worked together as a team to create this whole information report on the Isle of Rum. This helped us not only develop our writing skills, but we focused on problem solving, peer teaching and our editing skills.

This term our writing focus is ‘information’ – we decided it would be a good idea to write about our lovely island for volunteers, tourists or people who are considering living on the Isle of Rum. Today we went outside to take pictures of different places and wildlife for our booklet.

Community Enterprise – Focus Group

Our children took part in a focus group with Community Enterprise who are undertaking a feasibility study for The Isle of Rum Community Trust who are considering building a new community hub. Look below to see our thoughts!
